Monthly
RETAINER PROGRAM
YOUR ON-DEMAND IN-HOUSE DESIGNER
Perfect for businesses who need on-going website maintenance or designed materials on a monthly basis, but don't want to hire a full time designer.

WHY CHOOSE THE
RETAINER PROGRAM
The Monthly Retainer Program gives your business consistent access to design and creative support. Instead of unpredictable invoices, you secure a set number of hours each month for ongoing needs like website updates, branding, marketing, and graphic design. This ensures priority turnaround, transparent pricing, and a creative partner who understands your brand month after month.
HOW DOES A
RETAINER WORK?
At the start of each month, you pay upfront to reserve a block of design hours. These hours can be used for services like website updates, graphic design, social media, and print materials. Tasks should be submitted by the first business day of the month, and files are delivered via Dropbox. Retainer clients get priority turnaround, typically within 3–5 business days, with rush and emergency options available if needed.
MONTHLY RETAINER PROGRAM DETAILS
3 Month Minimum Commitment
All retainers begin with a 3-month minimum. After the initial period, you can select between a 3-month, 6-month, 9-month, or 12-month plan based on your ongoing needs. Hours may be upgraded anytime, but downgrades are only available at the end of your commitment cycle.
Overage and Unused Hours
Your retainer is based on a fixed number of hours each month. This ensures predictability for both scheduling and billing. Because your hours are reserved in advance, they do not roll over if unused, and additional time beyond your plan is billed separately.

-
Unused hours do not roll over to the next month.
-
Overages are billed at $90/hour during standard hours.
-
After-hours or weekend work is billed at $135/hour.
-
Rush requests (within 72 hours) are billed at your hourly rate + 20%.
-
Emergency requests (same-day) are billed at 2x your hourly rate + 20%.
-
You’ll always be notified before going over your allotted time.
Who Qualifies for a Retainer?
The Retainer Program is designed for clients who need ongoing creative support and want a dedicated designer each month. It’s ideal for businesses that prefer predictable costs and a trusted design partnership over one-off projects.

-
You need regular website updates, graphic design, or marketing materials
-
You prefer a set monthly fee instead of unpredictable invoices
-
You want faster turnaround and priority access to design time
-
You value working with a designer who knows your brand inside and out

Please note: The retainer program is available to returning clients only. If we haven’t worked together yet, we’ll begin with a project such as branding, a website, or a logo first. This helps ensure that a long-term retainer is the right fit for both of us.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?
Step One — Schedule Consultation Call
To begin please email me with your interest to begin the Monthly Retainer Program. You will receive a reply to your email with availability to schedule a 30 minute consultation call on Zoom or over phone (depending on your preferences and/or timezone). During this call we will go over your business goals, upcoming projects and the type/amount of work you expect needing on a monthly basis to determine the best monthly retainer plan for your business.
Step Two — Signature & First Payment
Once the retainer agreement is signed and the initial retainer fee is paid, I will set up all your projects needed for the first month in my client service dashboard (We use Asana). From there you will be able to see how much time is being spent on each project as well as time remaining for the month. Prior to the 2nd month, we will have a conference call or video chat to review the next month's priorities. Payment for the month ahead will be due on the last day of each month; but since you will be paying for 3 months upfront, your next payment wouldn't be due until the end of the 3rd month.
Step Three — Repeat & Reevaluate
At the end of your contract (month 3), we will review the program to see if you want to adjust the number of hours reserved each month before signing again. From here you will pay for the retainer on a monthly basis before the next month begins until the end of your contract.
